Small Living: Sliding Apartment

Architect Gary Chang has lived in the same 32 square meter apartment since he was 14 years old, over 30 years ago.

“My whole family – my parents, my three younger sisters, and me – used to live here. To make ends meet, my parents also rented out one of the rooms to an outsider, a woman in her late twenties. Then the room was rented to her younger brother.”

Chang has since renovated the space four times and calls the apartment his ‘domestic transformer.’ Now the soul occupier, the apartment can be easily changed to suit Chang’s desire through the use of sliding wall units and fold away furniture, boasting over 20 different configurations.

“The key idea is that everyone could look into their home more carefully and into how better to optimise their resources, because space is a resource. There is no use making your home as if it is a perfect show flat but at the same time never using the space.”

  32. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

  33. I have learn some excellent stuff here. Definitely value bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how a lot attempt you place to create this kind of fantastic informative web site.

  34. Renovation says:

My spouse and i felt ecstatic when Emmanuel managed to finish up his reports using the ideas he made in your weblog. It’s not at all simplistic to simply continually be freely giving information which often the rest may have been selling. And we all do know we now have the writer to appreciate for that. All the explanations you have made, the simple site navigation, the relationships your site give support to engender – it is mostly impressive, and it is letting our son in addition to us imagine that that article is entertaining, which is certainly unbelievably vital. Many thanks for the whole thing!

  35. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  36. mens fashion says:

Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such great information being shared freely out there.

  45. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  46. Hi there, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam responses? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it’s driving me crazy so any help is very much appreciated.

I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less.

I’ve been using WordPress on a variety of websites for about

I have heard good things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress
posts into it? Any help would be really appreciated!

  48. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
