Evelin Kasikov is an Estonian-born, London-based designer who explores the boundary between craft and print by incorporating stitches into print works.
Having studied traditional printmaking techniques (intaglio, letterpress and lithography), Kasikov now works predominantly in editorial and book design (notably, for the ever-impressive Phaidon list).
Kasikov describes her latest project, Printed Matter, as ‘an investigation into the relationship between tactile and visual perception, seeing and touching.’

Wieso braucht Plastisol Absprung und Wasserbasierte Farbe nicht ?
Das wäre interessant zu erfahren. Da ich gerade am Anfang stehe und
mir mein Siebdruckequipment gerade zusammenstelle. Ich würde zukünftig gerne auf Textil sowie auf Papier drucken und wer weiß vielleicht kommen dann noch extra Wünsche
dazu.Ich bin am hadern ob ich Wasserbasierte Farben oder Plastisol für die Shirts auswählen soll und zudem ob
ich mir einen Flashtrockner anschaffen soll oder nicht.
Ich möchte relativ große CMYK Motive drucken und denke
dafür wird ein Flashtrockner um die 1000 € zum Endfixieren fast unabdingbar
sein wenn Plastisol. Andererseits würde CMYK Wasserbasiert Nass in Nass
für Shirts sowieso an der Luft antrocknen…Und nur für Plastisol dass ich
zwar auch Nass in Nass drucken würde wäre dann der Flasher wieder unabdingbar.Zudem möchte ich auch normal deckend mehrfarbig drucken könne
also ohne das CMYK System… also stellt sich die Frage ob dann eigentlich nur dafür der Flasher tatsächlich gebraucht wird.Ich bin schon oft trödelig unterwegs und meine Werke die ich verdrucken will sehr feingliedrig…
keine gute Kombination wenn es um schnelles verarbeiten und
Eintrocknungsprobleme geht… Was würdet ihr dazu sagen.Liebe Grüße,Julian
