This is the Ply Laptop case Brian Kelly, a recent graduate from The University of The Arts Industrial Design Program, currently living in Philadelphia.
The ply laptop case provides a natural, and organic protective casing for your standard 15″ laptop –
The natural, timber grain of the case looks stunning and there’s an obvious high level of craftsmanship.

“This project is an exploration into the process of bending plywood.
The laptop case is formed from two bend panels of plywood which slide along one another to encase the laptop computer.The case is lined with cork to provide additional heat resistance and protection.”
The downside of that is that the sliding out part has no bottom…forget to hold the laptop firmly and…smash!
Somehow I doubt slinging that on ya shoulder and going to work would look too impressive somehow!

If you look carefully the case has a base which is rounded off and comes to a closed end.

But ur not a complete dim-wit, I agree that looking like a Tree-Hugger in an almost literal sense when you clutch that thing under your arm would prevent you from duplicating your genes. So atleast, Daniel, you can say you have that very basic Primal instinct.

Today, I went to the beach with my children.
