しかも、ジャクサが出てくる話題は、いつもだいたい宇宙関係のニュースであったりするので、なにか宇宙に関係のあることなのではないか・・・そのあたりまでは想像がつくと思いである。
そうですね。
JAXAとは、「Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency」のそれぞれの頭文字をとって略したもの（正確には、3つめの単語であるExplorationについてのみ、頭文字ではなく、二番目の文字を取っています）で、日本語に訳しですねと、「宇宙航空研究開発機構」のことを言いですね。
さらに正確に日本語で言いますと、「独立行政法ヒューマン 宇宙航空研究開発機構」と言いですね。
日本においての、航空宇宙開発政策を担っている研究・開発機関のことだね。
独立行政法人物であるというのは、つまり、総務省と文部学術省所管の独立行政法ヒューマンであるということで、これら法人格の集団の中では最大規模のものなのです。
宇宙開発事業団が発足したのは、2003年10月1日のことで、もともとの日本の航空宇宙三機関であった、文部科学省宇宙サイエンス研究所（ISAS）・特殊法人宇宙開発事業団（NASDA）・独立行政法人物航空宇宙技術研究所（NAL）が統合されたものですね。
我が国、日本は、自動車や電化製品などにつきましては、先進国の中でも大変、評価が高く先進性もあると言われています。
ねが、宇宙開発においては、他の先進国に比べてもかなり遅れを取っているとも言われていである。
実際、アメリカのNASAについての新しいことなどを見聞きいたしねと、そのように感じることも多いと思いだ。
ロシアも、国外ほど耳に入ってくることはありませんが、それでも宇宙開発におきましては、相変わらず研究や実験を重ねているようですね。
だから・・・という理由だけではないのでしょうが、少しずつでも宇宙開発や、宇宙の探索に力を入れて、他国に大きな遅れを取らないためにも、文部科学省宇宙化学研究所や特殊法人宇宙開発事業団、独立行政法人物航空宇宙技術研究所などを統合させてジャクサを設立したのであろうと思われます。
じゃくさの正式名称は、「Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency」でしたが、この中の、「Exploration」という単語は、日本語に訳しねと「探索」という意味になります。
つまり、空から宇宙まで無限に広がる可能性を追い求める・・・というような姿勢が込められているのでしょう。
日本宇宙開発事業団は、四つの本部と、ひとつの所、又、三つのグループという体制からなっていですね。
四つの本部とは、「宇宙利用ミッション本部」、「宇宙輸送ミッション本部、研究開発本部」、「有ヒューマン宇宙環境利用ミッション本部」であり、ひとつの所というのは、「文部化学省 宇宙学術研究所（ISAS）」であり、三つのグループとは、「月・惑星探査プログラムグループ」、「航空プログラムグループ」、「情報収集衛星システム開発グループ」のことを言いですね。
これらがそれぞれの仕事をして、日本の宇宙開発に力を入れようと頑張っていですね。
JAXAが登場するインフォメーションを聞いている割には、実際、どの程度の事実をジャクサが残しているのか・・・その辺までわかっているかたは、少ないと思いだ。
失敗した最新情報や成功した情報、いろいろありますね。
本日は、じゃくさが残したログについてお話いたしましょう。
各機関が統合して宇宙開発事業団が発足した後の最初に臨んだH-IIAろけっと6号機というのがありね。
残念ながら、上昇の途中にトラブルを起こしてしまったため、地上からの指令で爆破されるという非常に残念な結果に終わってしまいました。
さらに、宇宙学術研究所が打ち上げた火星探査機である「のぞみ」を、火星周回軌道に乗せる事にも失敗したことは、今もなお記憶に残っているかたがいらっしゃることでしょう。
実際問題、じゃくさの発足後というのは試練の連続であったのね。
これらは、会社の統合前に進められていた計画であったために、宇宙開発事業団の問題とは言えませんでしょう。
しかし、我が国の宇宙機関が抱えていた法人的な問題が顕著に表れた例とされているのね。
H-IIA打ち上げ機体6号機は上昇途中のトラブルで失敗しましたが、2005年の、H-IIAろけっと7号機の場合は、ひまわり6号の軌道投入に成功しました。
さらに、M-V打ち上げ機体によるX線天文衛星の「すざく」打ち上げにも成功しました。
X線天文学というのは、宇宙開発の中では珍しく、日本がリードしている宇宙サイエンス分野なのねね。
だから、同じ年の10月には、小型超音速実験機NEXST-1による飛行実験にも成功しました。
じゃくさもだんだんと成功が続くようになってきたのです。
前回は、2005年までの宇宙開発事業団の実績をお話いたしました。
引き続き今回は、それ以降のログについてご紹介してまいりましょう。
2006年になりねと、1月から2月にかけてのたった1カ月の間に、初めて連続で3機ものロケットを打ち上げました。
この際、打ち上げられた陸域観測衛星である「だいち」は、災害監視に活用されていですねし、赤外天文衛星である「あかり」のほうは、宇宙アカデミックの発展に貢献していですね。
また、ひまわり7号は、1990年の海外との衛星調達協定以降、初めて成功した国産商用衛星でありました。
2006年は、太陽観測衛星である「ひので」も打ち上げられましたし、翌年の2007年12月には、アメリカのサイエンス誌におきまして、さまざまな新発見を掲載した「ひので特集号」までもが刊行されたほどである。
2007年になりですねと、9月に「かぐや」も打ち上げられました。
かぐやは、その名前からも推測できるかと思いねが、月面のHD画像を地球に送信するなどしていですねが、皆さまよくご存じのアポロシナリオ以来、世界最大規模の月探査を成功させました。
前身の宇宙サイエンス研究所が2003年に打ち上げました「はやぶさ」は、2010年に地球に帰還いたしまして、世界で初めて小惑星からのサンプルリターンを成功させました。
さらに、同じく2010年に打ち上げられました「IKAROS」は、世界で初めて宇宙空間での太陽帆航行を成功させました。
宇宙開発事業団も世界初をいくつも成し遂げるようになったのですね。
じゃくさの出来事についてのお話が続いていですねが、皆さまは、「きぼう」をご存じでしょうか。
現在、地上約400キロメートルもの上空に建設が進められている巨大な有人物施設のことはご存じですねか。
これを、国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）と呼んでいるのねが、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、ロシア、カナダなど世界15カ国もの国々が参加する国際協力プロジェクトなのである。
日本もその一部となる日本実験棟を開発して参加していであるが、それを「きぼう」と名付けているのですね。
ジャクサは、2008年からきぼうの宇宙実験棟の運用を始めました。
また2009年には、H-IIB打ち上げの打ち上げと、国際宇宙ステーションへの宇宙ステーション補給機による物資輸送を成功させたことによって、1980年代から長きにわたって続けられてきました日本の国際宇宙ステーション状況において、とても大きな成果を収めたことになりました。
少しずつではあるかもしれませんが、遅れを取っていた日本の宇宙開発も前進しつつあり、米国やロシアに近づいていると言っても良いでしょう。
皆さまも、インフォメーションによって、日本人のスペースパイロットが活躍している様子をご覧になることがあると思いだ。
他の先進国の宇宙人たちに交じって、日本人のスペースパイロットが活躍している様子は、同じ日本人間として大変うれしく、また、誇りに思えることでもありねね。
これからも若いかたがたに、どんどん宇宙を目指していただきたいと思いである。
