Tricky son of a… the rubik’s lamp by Eric Pautz

“Rubik’s lamp is an innovative project based on the popular toy from the eighties. Much like the original Rubik’s cube, the lamp is composed of 26 smaller cube-like pieces, whose interlocking shapes fit onto each other.

Rubik’s Lamp is a creative solution for customized lighting, and, just like the original toy, presents itself as a fun, challenging puzzle.

Currently looking for producers.”

Brazillian designer Eric Pautz has brought back to life the frustrating past time of the rubix cube in the form of this very colourful, inventive lamp..

..with oh so many possibilities.

“The rotation of each face of the main cube allows the arrangement of up to forty-three quintillion different combinations, each one providing different lighting. Colored patterns and chaotic, kaleidoscopic lighting can be created by not leaving the main rows parallel to each other.”

Eric is also looking to produce his product so feel free to drop him a line if you think you’re up to the job!
